Developing the Future Leaders Today.

ACUHO-I believes that we are stronger when we incorporate diverse viewpoints and facilitate experiences that promote equitable and inclusive opportunities. Since 2019, the ACUHO-I Leadership Academy has hosted professional cohorts to promote involvement for underrepresented populations within the membership by exploring topics related to the Association, the profession, and individual personal development.

The ACUHO-I Leadership Academy is an opportunity for housing and residence life professionals with 5-7 years of experience from historically marginalized communities to gain leadership skills and experience that translates to positions on their home campuses and within the Association’s volunteer leadership pipeline. Cohort members experience personal and professional growth through coaching calls, monthly meetings, mentorship experiences, and other intentional professional development opportunities.
